Remember that proof of transaction is a receipt or tax invoice which must be easy to read, in plain language and state the:
✥ supplier of the products or services
✥ supplier's ABN, if they have one
✥ supplier's ACN, if they have one, but do not have an ABN
✥ date of the transaction
✥ product or services supplied to the consumer, and
✥ price of the products or services.
This app does not currently support OCR (automatic entering of receipt fields), but it is planned for a future release.
If you're going to use a warranty by receipt to digitize and store all of your receipts, you may want to hold on to the original for a while just in case.
How long is up to you and depends on the magnitude of your purchase, but at the very least you may want to try and match up with the retailer's return policy.
